What to Grow in September 🌱

Hi Garden Friend,

I hope this email finds you well!

I am beyond grateful for the slight change in the heat and the exciment of gardening this fall, my favorite time of year to garden.

This month I will be doing the following in the garden:

Note: each link below takes you to a guide for those plants and tips.

  1. Starting broccoli, kale and cauliflower seeds indoors.
  2. Planting out bush bean seeds and squash plants I started by seed last month.
  3. Plant other favorites such as beets and carrots towards mid September and end of September.
  4. Preparing my garden beds with compost and organic fertilizer. Also will be taking out old plants to prepare for new ones.
  5. Conitinuing to water wisely with drip irrigation and oya's.
  6. Keep an eye out for pest.
